Runcorn UTC - Patient Feedback report January 2023

We visited the Runcorn UTC twice, in November and December 2022, and spoke with 48 patients.

This report provides a snapshot of the experiences of those patients.

Summary

  • For 1 in 3 it was their first visit to the UTC in the past 12 months
  • 56% would have gone to A&E if there wasn't an Urgent Treatment Centre locally.
  • 40% had travelled from outside Halton to come to the Urgent Treatment Centre
  • Waiting times have increased in recent months
  • 93% would recommend the service to friends and family.
