Patient Feedback report tabled at WHH’s Patient Experience Committee meeting in September 2020 Based on 24 comments received through the #BecauseWeAllCare survey in July

We’re delighted to publish our annual report for 2019 - 2020, covering 1 April 2019 – 31 March 2020

We completed an announced visit at Halton Haven Hospice on 2 March 2020, on the request of the hospice, to learn about their work and patient care.

During April and early May 2020 we carried out an online survey asking local people to give us feedback on how the Covid-19 was affecting them. 191 people responded to the survey.

This feedback report highlights some of the themes and issues raised.

A&E Watch was designed to gain a snapshot view of the NHS Accident and Emergency (A&E) departments in across Cheshire & Merseyside. On 13th January 2020, local Healthwatch from across the area visited their local A&E departments to gain experiences of patients and understand why they attended and how they thought services could be improved.

Healthwatch Halton has published a report outlining the public’s views on the NHS Long Term Plan.

The NHS has produced a Long Term Plan, setting out all the things it wants health services to do better for people across the country. For these plans to work, the NHS needs to shape local plans based on local needs. We asked people #WhatWouldYouDo to improve local services in Cheshire and Merseyside.

This is a follow up to the report produced in Dcember 2016 on Home Care services in Halton.
