Help shape mental health services for young people.

Have you supported a young person who self-harms while waiting for mental health support? Researchers from the University of Liverpool want to hear from parents and caregivers about their experiences of waiting for NHS CAMHS (Children and Adolescent Mental Health Services).

Your story can help improve support for families like yours.

  • You’ll take part in a one-hour, one-on-one conversation (online or in-person)
  • Receive a £10 shopping voucher for your time.
  • Travel costs are reimbursed for in-person sessions.

To take part, you must:

  • Be a parent or caregiver aged 18+
  • Have supported a young person aged 12–18 who was referred to CAMHS due to self-harm
  • Have experienced a wait of more than 3 weeks for a first appointment within the last 3 years
