The Women’s Health Research Priorities (WHRP) project is being undertaken to define a list of research questions, with the aim of influencing how research bodies focus on and fund research into the most pressing issues affecting women’s health in the future.

The first survey of this project was completed by over 1,400 people, providing over 4,000 research topics and questions. These results identified six main topics: fertility, gynaecology, obstetrics, oncology, societal factors and 'additional', with key themes under each topic. The RCOG have developed a second survey, now open to the wider public, to help narrow down and prioritise these topics and themes.

Get involved

The second survey of the WHRP is now live. The RCOG recognise that women and people from all backgrounds must be involved in the development of services and in research, to ensure healthcare is anti-racist and inclusive. Sharing the survey widely with organisations and communities is very much encouraged.
