Mental Health Awareness Week 2026
Mental Health Awareness Week, running from the 11th to the 17th of May, aims to tackle stigma and help people understand and prioritise their own and other people's mental health through positive actions.
The Mental Health Foundation have chosen 'Action' as this year's theme because, while awareness is vital, real change comes when people take action too. Join us in taking action to support good mental health. Even small actions can help us feel hopeful and less powerless. And while our individual actions matter, when we come together we are even more powerful.
Everyone has mental health, just as we all have physical health. And like our physical health, there are times when our mental health is better than others. Looking after your wellbeing is important as is asking for support when you need it. Mental health should be a priority to help people stay well and recover well.
