Holiday Activities and Food this summer holidays

Halton Borough Council’s Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme is back this Summer, offering free activities and healthy meals for children and young people aged 4–16 who receive benefits related Free School Meals - and up to age 25 for young people with special educational needs or disabilities.

Across Halton, 38 local providers are delivering a packed schedule of Summer fun, including:

  • Arts & crafts
  • Sports and outdoor activities
  • Gaming clubs
  • Creative technology
    …plus many more sessions to keep children active, creative and connected.

Every child attending will enjoy:
• At least 4 hours of enriching activities
• A healthy, nutritious meal
• Sessions available on a minimum of 4 days over the holidays

Where? 

Activities are running at venues right across Halton.
Some sessions are open to all school aged children, and free packed lunches are available every weekday.

This programme is funded by the Department for Education and delivered in partnership with Halton Borough Council.
For families that are not eligible for HAF some providers do offer paid places!
