New Chapter. Same Commitment. A Future Where No One Grieves Alone.
The newly combined organisation will continue under the name Child Bereavement UK, bringing together decades of expertise to provide free, specialist bereavement support across the UK.
What support is available?
Child Bereavement UK supports:
- Children and young people up to the age of 25 who are grieving the death of someone important to them.
- Parents and families who have experienced the death of a baby or child.
- Professionals working with bereaved families who may need training, guidance and resources.
The charity aims to ensure that nobody faces grief alone by providing accessible support, practical advice and expert guidance tailored to individual needs.
A new service model
As part of the merger, the charity has introduced a new service model designed to help people access the right support at the right time. This includes:
✅ Free information and self-help resources
✅ Immediate access to bereavement specialists without a waiting list
✅ Ongoing structured support for those with more complex needs
✅ Online and place-based services across the UK
While some services may look a little different, the charity says these changes are intended to make support more accessible, responsive and consistent for those who need it.
