Safeguarding Adults Week 2026 in Halton

Safeguarding Adults Week is an opportunity to raise awareness of how we can all help protect adults who may be at risk of abuse, neglect, exploitation or harm. This year's theme,"Safeguarding Starts with Listening", highlights the importance of hearing people's experiences, understanding their concerns, and ensuring their voices are central to decisions about their care and support.
Throughout the week, partners across Halton will host a range of free online and in-person events covering topics such as scams and financial abuse, online safety, radicalisation awareness, professional curiosity, and person-centred safeguarding. These sessions are designed for professionals, volunteers, carers and anyone interested in learning more about safeguarding adults.
