🎯 Our Vision
Everyone in Halton should be able to speak up about their experiences of health and social care — and see those voices lead to real change.
In the year ahead, we’ll continue to listen, share your stories with decision-makers, and work alongside partners to make sure services are shaped around people’s needs.
🌟 Key Priorities for 2025–2026
1. GP and Primary Care Access
We’ll keep monitoring access to appointments, online booking and phone systems — highlighting what’s working well and what needs to improve.
2. Women’s Health and Maternity
We’ll capture experiences around maternity, menopause and reproductive health so women’s voices shape future service design.
3. Urgent and Emergency Care
Through Listening Events at Whiston, St Helens, Warrington and Halton hospitals, we’ll help providers improve communication and discharge processes.
4. NHS Dentistry
We’ll continue to share local stories on access and affordability and the impact on people’s health and wellbeing.
5. Mental Health and Wellbeing
Through the Halton Mental Health Alliance, we’ll focus on access to support and how services join up around individuals.
6. Digital Inclusion
We’ll explore how digital exclusion affects booking, information access and records — ensuring no one is left behind.
📊 Our Aims
- Hear from at least 1,200 local people about their experiences.
- Run 120 community outreach sessions across Halton.
- Publish quarterly reports showing what people told us and what’s changing.
-
Carry out Enter & View visits to observe care and share findings.
🤝 Working Together
We’ll work with local NHS Trusts, the Council and community partners via the Health & Wellbeing Board, Safeguarding Adults Board and the Mental Health Alliance — ensuring local voices influence decisions.
