In the final quarter, we heard from 593 people about their experiences of local health and care services. Much of the feedback focused on hospital and primary care services, with the majority being positive, but access to services continues to be a recurring issue.

Our highlights this quarter:

  • 📢 Outreach: We took part in 74 outreach sessions, reaching 2,256 people, including visits to every GP practice in Halton and various community venues.
  • 📬 Signposting and information: We handled 74 enquiries, with NHS dental access remaining the top issue. We helped 13 people access emergency NHS dental treatment.
  • 🌐 Digital Inclusion: As part of the National Databank, we supported 30 people with free mobile data SIMs to stay connected.
  • 👂 Listening Events: We gathered feedback at local hospitals and published new reports on Whiston A&E and Warrington & Halton Hospitals.
  • 👥 Volunteers: Our dedicated volunteers gave 76 hours of their time, supporting outreach and reviewing patient information materials.
  • 🏠 Enter & View: Two visits took place—one each to St Luke’s Care Home and Oakmeadow Community Support Centre. Reports will follow in Q1 2025/26.
  • 🎙️ Radio Halton: We continued our monthly live show, sharing updates on our work and giving local groups a platform.
