Hough Green Health Centre report
Healthwatch Halton carried out an Enter and View visit to Hough Green Health Centre as part of our programme of GP practice visits across the borough. During the visit we spoke with patients, observed the practice environment, and gathered feedback about access to appointments and experiences of care.
Overall, patients spoke positively about staff and the care they receive once seen. As with many practices, access to appointments and booking routes were the main areas raised by patients.

- Patients described staff as friendly, professional and supportive
- The practice environment was generally clean and well organised
- Appointment access, particularly at busy times, was a common concern
- Mixed views on digital systems, with some patients preferring telephone or face-to-face contact
