Our Annual Report for 2023 - 2024 has just been published and highlights our work over the last year and shows how your feedback has helped influence improvements in health and care services locally.

It’s Alcohol Awareness Week 2024, from 1 to 7 July. Alcohol Change UK wants to address the centre-stage role that alcohol takes in our lives and in our society and how we can work together to change that.

July is Sarcoma Awareness Month.
Sarcomas are rare cancers. The 2 main types of sarcoma are soft tissue sarcoma and bone sarcoma (also called primary bone cancer).
Each year, about 4,300 people in England are diagnosed with a soft tissue sarcoma. About 550 people are diagnosed every year with primary bone cancer in the UK.

Pride season is an opportunity for us to celebrate LGBTQ+ communities. Every year, throughout the month of June, the LGBTQ+ community gets together to celebrate. It is also a great opportunity to raise awareness of issues that people within the community face and advocate for equal rights. We must celebrate and empower our diverse communities to ensure everyone can be safe, happy and realise their full potential.

The next junior doctors strike will run from 7:00am on Thursday 27th June 2024 to 7:00am on Tuesday 2nd July 2024.

The industrial action will cause significant disruption, with NHS Trusts across Cheshire and Merseyside set to be severely impacted.

Learning Disability Week runs from Monday 17 - Sunday 23 June 2024. This year's theme is "Do you see me?" which is all about being seen, heard and valued.
