World Aids Day - Let's end new cases by 2030.

World AIDS Day is a global movement to unite people in the fight against HIV and AIDS. Since 1988, communities have stood together on World AIDS Day to show strength and solidarity against HIV stigma and to remember lives lost.

Men in England continue to face worse health outcomes than women. They face higher rates of heart disease, cancer and suicide, which is one of the leading causes of death for men under 50. Healthwatch England’s recent research found that these inequalities are reinforced by gaps in awareness, understanding, and engagement with health services.

Residents in Cheshire and Merseyside have supported their local NHS to successfully reduce medicines waste in the region, saving approximately 60 tonnes of prescription medicines last winter – the weight of five double-decker buses.
